Bio.
Summary.
I currently work and teach at Washington University in St. Louis, where I am an Associate Professor of Law. Before joining WashU in 2021, I served as the Postdoctoral Fellow in Empirical Law and Economics at the Ira M. Millstein Center for Global Markets and Corporate Ownership at Columbia Law School. I also held positions as Visiting Associate Professor of Law at the University of Virginia School of Law and Senior Research Fellow at Max Planck Bonn.
I hold a Ph.D. from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich) and an LL.M. from Harvard Law School. I am also a fully qualified lawyer in Germany, where I worked as an attorney with a focus on Venture Capital financing before embarking on an academic career.
